2025 Event Announcement! Sunday December 7, from 4pm-7pm

Atwater Village Annual Tree Lighting Festival

Every year we gather in the heart of Atwater Village to light the soaring 80ft tree and herald the start of the festive season with this beloved - and free - neighborhood festival. We sip on hot chocolate, welcome Santa Claus (who arrives atop a fleet of fire engines) sing some carols, merrily mingle with our neighbors, and dance our Jingle Bells off with family and friends. Ever wondered how this event, founded in 1992, actually happens? Thanks to a merry team of volunteers and local businesses.
